Yes, jewelry is the traditional bridal party gift. I would check places like Claire's boutique and the kiosks at the mall. The jewelry does not have to be real, just nice costume jewelry. Thats a fantastic gift! It shows that you listen to her and that you care enough that you wanted to get something that would make her job easier. You should set it up for her and pout a picture of the newborn as the bacground. Maybe get her dinner or some flowers on the side but anyone who has ever used one of those horrible behemoth monitors knows that the difference is amazing. I recently bought my father a new lcd monitor to replace his old 1980's special and he was so thrilled he got tears in his eyes. A collage would be really cute with baby pictures around a picture of you and hubby-to-be. Or, if you can get a pic you you and your mom and him and his mom for the center. For my wedding, I am getting the bridesmaids necklaces that they can wear in my wedding. I do not think you can ever go wrong with jewelry.
