CNEs of the French Space Agency and Airbus Signed a Co3d Optical Constellation Agreement

CNEs signed a co3d optical constellation agreement with Airbus. According to the cooperation agreement, Airbus will provide global high-resolution digital terrain model (DSM).After the launch at the end of 2022, the co3d constellation manufactured by Airbus will be composed of four identical satellites and will provide 50 cm Resolution Stereo Images worldwide every day. The data obtained will support the cloud processing system operated by Airbus and integrate the algorithm of the French space agency to generate an advanced 3D map of the earth's land plate.With a weight of about 300 kg, co3d satellite has become part of Airbus's optical and radar satellite system, which will further enhance the company's ability to meet the increasingly demanding application requirements. These flexible satellites have created a generation of highly innovative all electric platforms, which will open up a new way to acquire, process and transmit images. Together with four pl iadesneo satellites, the co3d constellation will provide unparalleled refresh rates for high-resolution images.
